A Gift for Ghosts

I don't remember who I am or where I come from, but I'm very sure that I haven't spent my life surrounded by ghosts that want me dead.

Or do they love me?

They can't seem to figure it out and neither can I. The worst part is that it feels like I know them. Even as I wander these halls, trapped because they say I'm a risk to myself (and others), the ghosts taunt me and tease me all at the same time. I want nothing more than to not wake up some morning... except then one of my not-so-friendly haunts gives me a dream of us, together, and I know I want to find some way to have that before I fall into the abyss.

Lost and lonesome, I'll do anything for the confusing affection my ghost lovers keep pouring on me; anything I can do within the confines of the treatment center, anyway.
