I’m Ash—soldier, survivor, and the one always left behind. My life has been about discipline and service, but lately, it feels like everyone around me has found their happily-ever-after except me. When I’m sent undercover to teach at a prestigious Fae Academy, I think it’s just another mission—a chance to distract myself from how empty I’ve been feeling.

But the academy isn’t what I expected. The students keep whispering about a prophecy, the fae prince treats me like a threat, and the infuriating professor watching me seems to know my secrets before I do. And then there’s him—the fae lord who shatters every wall I’ve built around my heart.

I don’t belong here. And yet... this place calls to me in ways I can’t explain.

When I discover what I really am, everything I thought I knew about myself changes. Suddenly, the life I’ve lived—and the people I’ve grown to care for—are at risk.
