I know I have to take matters into my own hands to get what I need, and what I need is my happily ever after. And although everybody calls for me to shelter from the dark king. I can’t any longer because my future happiness is at stake and knowing the magical binds of my fated knights means I’m closer to breaking a spell that ties me to him.

But things change between the Dark King and me when I touch him, and our connection is impossible to deny and I start to feel the weakening of the spell put on me to not feel him. But I have to resist him and believe I have the right knights at my side to prevent myself from falling deeper for him.

I have to. I need to. Because my life is drawing to the same wicked end, just like every life before now.

But does it matter? Am I already doomed when the Dark King saves my life? Or when I realise he may be the love I never knew I needed.
