Kidnapped by a merman. I felt the “freak” coming out again. No mermaid tail for me, but I discovered I could breathe underwater. Add that to the new abilities that seemed to show up whenever I was in danger. Turned out there was a whole underwater city where merfolk live, and the merman who brought me there was a prince. He also said I was his mate. I mean, who wouldn’t want three handsome and hunky men to drool over. Luke, the wolf shifter, Grayson, the griffin shifter, and now Dillan, the merman prince. But I just wanted to know what I was.

With a third mate, the conclusion we came to was that I was an alpha. But an alpha of what? Lucas’s wolf submitted to me, and Grayson’s griffin wanted to take me flying, which was his way of rolling over and showing me his belly. But with the power that seemed to keep growing inside of me, I hoped we figured it out soon before it was too late. Everyone seemed to want to kill me. The Fae were after me, students on campus had attacked me, even my family wasn’t safe. Maybe the witches could give us some answers, if they didn’t kill us first. Story of my life.
