That’s what I vowed to do, and keeping that promise to myself means letting in a kind of relationship the old me wouldn’t have dreamed of.

But when my friend Annie died and left a journal detailing her happy life with three men, everything changed. It clicked—I want all that love, too.

Now I’ve found myself falling hard for three guys, just like Annie did.

There’s Scott, a confident fellow surgeon who I want to strangle as often as I want to kiss him. Malcolm—loyal, devoted, and open to this crazy journey I’ve invited him on. And Gage, kind and serious, unsure of himself but never of me.

It’s hard enough trying to figure this all out—but the fact that they all spend their days in the hospital where I work makes it impossible not to confront my own feelings about each of them.
