My name is Nora Hart, and this is my story of second chances. The question is... will I learn that I'm able to be loved, or will I give up and lose myself to the voice in my head?

Nora Hart is twenty-four years old and has already lost more than she thought she could handle, rebuilt her life more than once and has done this whilst managing to avoid everything about the shifter world.

On her eighteenth birthday, her fated mate rejected her, and her entire world collapsed. She lost her mate, her family, her pack and her wolf in one night.

Six years later, she’s working at a small branch of a very large law firm when fate decides it’s time for her to return to shifter society. What better way than introducing her to her boss… who turns out to be an Alpha lion shifter and one of her mates.

She moves across the country whilst denying her new mates, but it turns out that fate isn’t done messing with her yet. Between a voice in her head trying to beat her down, people from the past wanting help, and the emergence of hunters… is she strong enough to get through this?

Death is Easy is the first book in the Second Chances trilogy. It’s a slow-burn reverse harem series meaning Nora, the FMC, will end up with more than one mate by the end of the series. There are numerous trigger warnings for this book, including but not limited to depression and PTSD. There’s a more detailed warning in the book itself, but please, for both yours and my sanity, don’t read this if it will trigger you in any way. My intention with this book is to help normalise mental health struggles, not harm anyone.
