One day, I’m inking hellhounds on to my thighs, and the next, I’m in bed with them. Isn’t life grand? I wish I could say that’s the end of our little love story but it’s only the beginning.It all started with Mama, who vanished after a botched séance. After that, the undead rose from their graves thanks to a certain necromancer, whom I may, or may not be connected to. And now the zombies are taking a bite out of New Orleans. And what’s worse, I’m stuck here at the fifty shades hideaway playing smack-ass in a game of amnesia. Perhaps, I should back up. I’m Evangeline Midnight, and as my Grand-mere Delphine would say, it has been a day! So, the different supernatural factions want me, and I have no idea why. Probably something to do with the fact that I’m the spawn of evil, but it’s anyone’s guess. All I know is that after fighting off the evil necromancer reanimating corpses during the Battle of the Undead and basically surviving an undead werewolf attack, I managed to get myself kidnapped by some fangy freak. So now I’m the inside this hive and my boyfriends are going to be ticked that I didn’t stay put because who can resist a midnight snack? Despite the dangers, I’m going to chance the master’s dental erection in order to find the tools to ink my way out. I’m hoping to find the key to escaping my new mind-numbing prison. I just know my Alpha boyfriend, Professor Batavian and his Monster Squad—the city’s supernatural trackers—are scouring the city in search of me. If only I can remember to leave. The light orbs flicker, the hell hounds throb, and the dead are rising faster than fresh bread.
