Dreams of the Dawn

I never intended to have a family, much less a pack of werewolves at my beck and call, but here we are.

With Lorenzo back on our side, the militarized Guardians are breathing down our necks every time we stop to make camp. I doubt he's helping them yet he certainly messed up things for us. He's going to have to earn our trust back. Our. Me. My pack.

Being an alpha means I'm constantly worried and, as my pregnancy nears its end, exhausted. And after the pups are born? I'm at a total loss. I don't know how we'll keep our pack on the road and safe; not when the Guardians are capturing werewolves and auctioning them off to whoever bids the most.

No matter where we go, we're hunted. No matter what we do, we're in danger.

This has to stop.
