Benny didn’t choose me. At least not yet, but now that I’ve seen him, now he knows I’m alive, I’m not ready for our story to be over. But I’m also not ready to leave Ilya and Aleksei. Then there’s Trace… After hours upon hours of training together—yes, together—we’ve grown closer, and I’m understanding what he means when he says the line between love and hate is thin. 

While juggling budding relationships, fixing old relationships, and trying to understand new ones, including Benny’s boyfriend Spencer, things between the Hellions and Marquez’s crew, Capital City Chaos, are heating up. Ilya is finally using the power of his men to take Marquez out. Our future in this industry—as a family—is promising, and we’ll do whatever it takes to keep it that way. 

We’re making strides toward taking Leonardo out, but it never feels like enough. This is a war where we’re always two steps behind.
