I was used to being alone. I’d been alone my entire life. But coming to the university, I’d finally found a place where I belonged. With the four kings of campus. They had become my whole world, until the fire I barely escaped. I’d had to hide, knowing that the men who had come after me would never give up searching for me, but that meant the kings of campus didn’t know where I was either.

Fate and destiny were words I didn’t rely on. My future was my own, and I was determined to make it into what I wanted, but obstacles kept falling in my path. Being kidnapped seemed to be a regular occurrence in my life, but with everything I had already been through, there had to be a light at the end of the tunnel. I couldn’t remain in hiding forever.
