How come I attract the worst types of men?
I am the high priestess of a caster race, and I cannot be attracted to the pompous King Shifter.
A mighty Unseelie king is determined to rule all supernatural races and wipe out humans. He organized an attack that ended with the death of the vampire queen. While we know the culprit, it surprised us to learn that he had allies from our own race.
I shouldn't have volunteered to investigate the suspect because I have to work closely with the Wolf King. Worse still, the suspect is not a lone wolf, but another alpha-hole that is perhaps worse than the king. Who, of course, makes me boil with rage and desire.
Needless to say, they make my job very difficult.
I hope we solve the mystery of who is a friend or an enemy of our people before facing the battle we all fear.
