Jez grew up with the knowledge she would follow in her father’s footsteps. Her dream becomes a reality when she makes the cut as a Hotshot, one of an elite team of firefighters that specialize in taming wilderness wildfires. Nixon, Trystan, and Gray have worked wildfires that have tested their endurance and skills for years. They have lost friends and team members along the way to the burning fires that move in the forest, destroying everything in its path. What the men experience when faced with a woman who not only has the same skills they possess but the ability to set them on fire from the inside out—the men jump at the chance, willing to get burned in the process.
