Hunted on the Fourth of July

This Fourth of July, three handsome Marines want me.
And they know how to hunt their prey.

I liked three friends at the same time in high school.
They each liked me but didn't want to share.
So they went off and joined the Marines.
But now they're back.
Just in time for our town's July 4th celebrations.
And they haven't forgotten me like they tried to do.
I haven't forgotten them, either.
In fact, I've been saving my virginity for them.
I can still feel the heat with these hometown heroes.
And now fireworks aren't the only thing exploding.
Things are picking up right back where they left off.
But we still have the problem of me having to choose.
So, we play a game to see which one gets to claim me.
But I really can't decide.
I want to free myself from the rules by changing them.
After all, it's the day we celebrate freedom.
I figure if they want me enough, they'll learn to share.
And boy do I turn out to be right.
As three of their rockets launch inside me at once,
and honorably discharge like nothing I've ever felt,
we want Independence Day to last for our whole lives.

But even though everyone respects men in uniform,
will our small town be able to accept our love?
