Marked By Lies

My name is Melissa Green, and life is fucked up when you can see the dead. Since I was younger I've always been looked at differently, except back then my mum was still alive to protect me from the worst of it.

I work as a bounty hunter/ private investigator, and I always find what I'm looking for. Whether it be an item or a person, you can bet your ass I'll find it. As you can imagine, my line of proffesion doesn't exactly make me any friends but I'm not much of a people person to begin with.

The only friend I have is an old woman named Adelaide who sees things that nobody else can. In that sense she's the only person I know who can truly understand me. I don't spend my time with anyone else and the lack of human interactions makes the peoplle I do ttry to speak with think that I'm cold and uncaring.

Obsticles arise from where I least expect them and my work life begin to seep into my private life. What will happen to me when a new case changes everything that I thought I knew?
