Earth Mother, how do such simple things as love and murder get so complicated? 

Me at an elegant dinner dance, wolves attacking the mansion, a puma opening up about his feelings, a witch flying from England to come to our aid… Stranger things have happened. Or have they?

We’re in so far over our heads I’m not even sure Cassia can help. While I’d like to say I’m happy for all the help I can get, the truth is I’m downright scared for her to get involved. Wolves and magic? Dangerous combination. Of course we can’t fight this war alone. Still, I don’t need a shamanic journey or coyote instinct to know that adding any extra houseguests means fur is going to fly.
