I’m Ciara, the mortal Tithe to the fae. When the Queen gifted me with magic, I ended up with all four elements; air, fire, water, and earth. That made me staggeringly powerful, despite being untrained. It was a risky combination, but caution wasn’t really my thing.

I was back at Fae Academy as an Assassin, hoping desperately that the Queen wasn’t going to ask me to kill anybody for real.
