Five years ago, I got rid of the person that was supposed to be the villain in this story. We thought we could take over, be the good guys for once. Things that haven’t been seen in Santino in years are now all over the city. My city.

With a list of secrets and identities a mile long, my worlds are colliding. When a long lost friend shows up on my doorstep, those carefully manufactured worlds come crashing down and suddenly my secrets and my past are thrust front and center in a group of men that I desperately want to trust. The question is, how do we work together when our concepts of good vs. evil vary so much, and where the morality of murder and theft and seduction is up for debate? And how do I let them in when my body learned how to love pleasure without intimacy a long time ago?

The obsessive mob boss with a vendetta. The passionate fighter motivated by good intentions. The haunted assassin with a laugh to kill. The childhood sweetheart that never was. And the charming torturer with a soft spot for animals.

They’re going to help me keep this city safe because it’s not just my job but my calling. And hopefully we’ll have a little bit of fun in the process because this is San Santino after all.
