Faith by name. Faith by nature. Well, that was the plan at least. I was all set to take my vows and become a nun, but the devil had other plans for me. I'd been raised by the church, trained and taught to obey the Lord. Now I'm questioning not only my life but my faith that he even exists. Is he even real? And if he is, then how can he be good when his priests are trying to kill me, and the demons are the ones keeping me safe?

I can't turn to the parents that gave me away, and how can I appeal to a God who has never once answered my prayers?
