Wicked Angel

I’ve always been a little mischievous. It’s just my nature.
Did I mention I was stubborn, too? Well, yeah. Add that to the list of glowing traits I have.

Usually I could keep myself from getting into too much trouble, but accidentally sprouting wings in the middle of brunch with my trio of gal pals tops the list of ‘things I wish never happened’.

I left the gawking group of people to head home for answers. Surely, my parents would know why I suddenly have two massive black wings on my back.

But my parents aren’t home.

And the house is trashed.

There’s nothing but rubble in place of the building that I’d walked out of only a few hours ago.

Four sexy guys stand in the midst of it all arguing about how to find their Chosen One. I barely got a word in to ask the questions burning in my mind before they tell me it’s time to run.

They claim I’m in danger. There’s a council determined to take me and turn me into their own little lab experiment. They tell me I need to trust them in order to stay alive and to find my parents - a supposed angel and vampire couple who were never supposed to mate.

Oh, and they claim that I’m their mate. As in, all four of them.

Yeah, right.

Vampires, angels, and mating… It feels move like a fever dream.

It can’t be real...

...Can it?
