Fated mates… Who said I can't fake it?

I may be a shifter, but I lost my human side to my wolf a long time ago. We were rejected by our pack, forced to live penniless on the outskirts of town. All because I can’t be tamed.

When a rare opportunity arises up north, I’m sent on a one-way trip to meet three pack leaders. They need mates to build their alliances and expand their territory. Or so they claim. 

Instead, I’m put in a selection line with a half-dozen other women, all who are fighting for attention. The leaders are short-tempered, brutish, controlling, but the most gorgeous jerks I’ve ever met. Competing in their deranged game means suppressing the feral side of me and playing the part, but I’ll do whatever it takes to get my family back in a pack’s good graces. Even sit, stay, and roll over. 

At least, for a little bit.

Like any wild animal, I can’t be caged for long. And this wolf is known for her bite.
