A New Jersey native, Mercy has been known to sneak the names of her cats—Mercy, Simon, Jasper, Daisy, and Rory—into her stories, along with friends and readers. You have been warned.

When not searching out exotic foods, creating eclectic playlists for her books, or swinging in her hammock in the sun, she writes fluffy, feel good, mostly curvy girl books with a bit of angst, and a soft, gooey center. She believes love has no expiration date. And cashmere is a girl’s best friend.
