A Mind At Play

I’m back where I never wanted to be, but I know I won’t be here long. I know they will never stop looking for me, so I wait and bide my time for my lovers to come. But as the days tick by, I worry I will never be found and it becomes harder to hold on to the hope I once had.
I try to stay strong as I wait for my chance to get free. I watch and listen and best of all, I plan. Cassiandra doesn’t think I’m a threat and I play my part to keep it that way, hating every second of it.
I only hope this doesn’t go on forever because I really need my lovers back and I desperately want to return to the life I made for myself and take all this new information I learned and use it to beat her at her own game.
