They never saw me coming.

I grew up under my father’s thumb, his precious little princess. Heir to it all. I was supposed to rule over the guardian packs. Then I turned seventeen and ran and never looked back.

I’d never been very good at doing what I was told. The life I created for myself was a good one. I was helping people, saving shifters. My life before was just an ugly memory.

Until he showed up to drag me back.
