Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned.The sisters call me a harlot, but what’s wrong with enjoying the tender touch of a lover, when all I’ve ever known is the hard smack of their punishing wood?They call me a liar, but they don’t understand that it’s all just a defense mechanism. I lie, so that they don’t see the pain lurking beneath the surface, the cold comfort of it the one thing I truly feel.They call me a sinner, and they’re not wrong. I know what I like, and I refuse to change- to conform to the rules of the convent. And why should I? I’m just counting down the days until I can be free of their sanctimonious chains.
