I dance for me. It's the only time I feel free, like the mistakes I made in the past can't come back to haunt me. I dance for my son. It's good money, so I can save up and take him far away.

Shifters are drawn to witches like me, and the cats who own the club I dance at are no exception. I can't let anyone get too close, because the secret of my past comes with danger but Johnny, Gale, and Blaze worm their way into my life anyway. They're officers in the Pride, the motorcycle club that runs our section of the city, and they could make life for me and my son so much easier.

But it's only a matter of time before my past catches up to me. I'll do whatever it takes to protect my friends, my family, my son, even give myself up to the very man I'm running from. I only hope I can pull myself back out again before it's too late.
