Holly's Festive Fairytale

I just wanted a simple Christmas considering I’m broke, between jobs, perpetually single and living with my parents. Not exactly where every twenty-nine year old wants to be.

To make matters worse, my successful older brother is due for a visit, and he’s bringing his three equally successful best friends.

The three best friends I had a crush on when I was younger and not so wise.

Now I’m all grown up, and still none the wiser, but they finally seem to notice I exist. Then I discover they’re staying in the house next door, and I’m pretty sure that sudden mistletoe above the door isn’t an accident. My simple Christmas becomes a festive fairytale that usually happens to other people.

But is this just for Christmas, or are they ready for the long haul?
