Welcome to San Santino, where the lines between right and wrong aren’t just blurred, they’re nonexistent. The sex is hot, the drugs are hard, and we aren’t afraid of things that happen in the dark.

Five years ago, I got rid of the person who was supposed to be the villain in this story. We thought we could take over, be the good guys. Except now trouble is popping up around town, and I have no idea who is behind it or why. Underground fighting. Sex trafficking. Opioid overdoses. Problems not seen in Santino for years are all over the city.

With a list of secrets and identities a mile long, my worlds are colliding. When a long-lost friend shows up on my doorstep, those carefully manufactured walls come crashing down. Suddenly, my secrets and my past are thrust, front and center, into a group of men who I desperately want to trust. The question is, how do we work together when our concepts of good versus evil vary so much? Where the morality of murder and theft and seduction is up for debate?

And how do I let them in when, a long time ago, my body learned how to love pleasure without intimacy?

The obsessive mob boss with a vendetta. The passionate fighter motivated by good intentions. The haunted assassin with a laugh to kill. The childhood sweetheart who never was. And the charming torturer with a soft spot for animals.

They’re going to help me keep this city safe; it’s not just my job but my calling. And, hopefully, we’ll have a little bit of fun in the process.
