Miss Fortune

I rely on my tarot cards to guide me. In fact, I base my entire life on my readings. The ones I do for myself, and the ones for clients at my memaw’s shop.

Until the day I wake up in the bayou coated in mud. Nothing could have prepared me for my muck filled morning, which eventually ends with a rescue from a set of handsome brothers. Once I'm safely back home, I assume things will return to normal. Or normal for me.

But they don't.

The encounter appears to be the catalyst for a series of strange events, including a fluke in my card’s predictions.

And that’s just the beginning.

My normally reliable tarot becomes unpredictable. My best friend starts acting strangely. My dreams are filled with a dapper stranger. My memaw stops answering my calls.... And one of my new friends goes missing.

It feels like everything is spiraling out of control, and without using my cards, there’s no way to know what will happen next.
