Protected

I thought volunteering for an overseas deployment by my agency would fast track my career. Boy, was I wrong! My convoy was ambushed on the return to Kabul. Fortunately, I was assigned four protectors who whisked me away into the mountains. Unfortunately, these special forces men deemed me a burden, their hostility towards me apparent. I don't know what I did to make them hate me but I'm sure as shit going to prove my worth! War is hell. But so is love!
