Race To The Altar

No way can I miss my best friend’s wedding.

And just to be sure I make it, her brother shows up at my front door ready to escort me from California to Florida for the main event.
I never could say no to dreamy-eyed Grant. He’s always been my undoing.
And did anything change in the last few years?
Nope.
He still has that power over me.
Off to the airport we go, along with my sweet little doggy, Brute, only to meet up with Grant’s two ridiculously handsome business partners, Blake and Jerry.
The flight’s been cancelled.
I hate to fly anyway, so yay for me. It’s a sign. I’m not supposed to go.
But wait… says Blake. We don’t need to fly. We still have several more days before the wedding. There’s a race we can join.
A race? I ask, intrigued by the concept.
Yes, a cross-country race worth over a million dollars to the winners.

What I wouldn’t do for a million dollars or even part of a million dollars.
After some negotiations… and I’m a great negotiator… we all agree to join this crazy race sponsored by the private club they belong to.
Did I happen mention how utterly attracted I am to gorgeous men who belong to a private club? A sizzling red-hot attraction.
I mean, why fly to Florida when you can race there for a chance at a million bucks?
What girl couldn’t use a cool million?
A million dollars… A million f***king dollars!
My best friend’s wedding is looking more doable all the time.
We drive to a predetermined location, and compete against other groups by day.
Then there’s the oh-so-long, private… really private nights.
What could possibly go wrong?
Did I happen to mention that I’m not good at saying no to Grant… then there’s extra-hot Jerry and deliciously decadent Blake.
