Druids don’t exist anymore. At least, we’re not supposed to. I watched them destroy my family before my mother shoved a grimoire into my arms and pushed me through the portal. The portal that is, to the Veil. Years later, I’m being hunted by the Conclave–a group of relentless Elders that hunger for power. Luckily, I have the Morte Council protecting me, including other creatures just as rare as I am. A leviathan, necromancer, and warlock join my journey to protect the other rarities of our world. The Morte Council? Just another name for the resistance. I might be an expert at creating life, but I’m perfect at taking it away, especially when it threatens everything I know, including my alphahole mates.
