Sacred Circle

Za’Ara is old enough to take the throne, but she doesn’t feel she’s ready. 
And who would? It’s more than enough to be the Queen of an entire people, on her matriarchal planet of Maeotis, but the crown comes with so much more than that.

First, she needs to eliminate the current Queen, as per tradition, but the last thing Za’Ara wants is to say goodbye to her mother.

Second, she will need to put out the call to arms for her Sacred Circle. Another tradition she wishes weren’t so important to her people. 

With every seat she fills in her circle, her place as Empress of the Rhysilis Galaxy becomes more and more solid.

It might be hard to keep up with all of the changes, but she’s going to have to adapt quickly because an ancient threat has been awakened, and other powers in the Galaxy are ready to take advantage of the vulnerability that rises when one Queen makes room for another.
