Summoning her Monsters

When my parents left, I promised myself one thing: I’d protect my little brother with my life. So when I am woken up in the middle of the night by his screams and find his bed empty, I swear to myself I’d do anything I could to bring him back home where he belonged, alive and breathing.

Including using the magic I abhorred.

Life likes to mess me around though because instead of contacting the ghosts roaming my home, I summon three of the most attractive men I have ever seen, and each bearing names I couldn’t hope to pronounce. To make matters worse, they tell me I’m their fated mate, and pledge themselves to my cause of finding my brother, no matter the danger.

Sure, on the surface that’s great, but how can I focus when these men call to a primal and emotional part of me, a part I have long since neglected in favour of looking after my brother?

One thing is for sure, I was going to bring my brother back home and punish those responsible, I just had to ensure I didn’t loose my heart in the process.
