The baby is in distress and he's taking all of us with him. Trapped behind the walls of Bellevue Medical, all we can do is worry about what The Council will do when I give birth. Will they let us keep the child? Or will they take him away forever?
Outside of the hospital, a rebellion is brewing. Word has gotten out about what The Council will do to our half-demon, half-witch child. My five baby daddies are on medical rotation trying to keep me and our baby alive, but when they aren't by my side, they're stirring up the crowd.
The Council started this fight a century ago, but we're going to be the ones to finish it.
