Sigrun, a fallen Valkyrie, awakens on a frozen beach cast aside by Odin, the god of war. Despondent at the loss of her wings and all her Valkyrie powers, Sigrun gives herself to the frigid waves hoping to find honor in death. But a longboat of exceptional vikings save her from the icy waves and pledge their lives to her if she will take them to Valhalla. It is not the love of Odin they seek, but that of a fallen Valkyrie. It is not peace within Valhalla they desire, but the end of Odin.
