Gwen has always been fiercly independent. Ever since her parents died, she was either reading fantasy books or saving up money at her boring job, waiting for her chance to find her adventure. When her druggie brother dares her to drive across country, from Cali to NY, she shrugs and says, "Why the hell not?" With nothing holding her back, she jumps in her little blue car and drives.
