After a seven-year relationship that ended catastrophically, Claire Castwell loved having a badge that kept males at a distance and living in a completely different dimension. The Christmas territory is everything she could have hoped for with the only downside being far away from her family and friends. Now, more than nine months later, Claire’s dearest friends are happily settled with wonderful males, giving her the confidence to move out of the single female dorms and meet some great guys for herself. No sooner than Claire and her familiar Edwina are in an adorable private cottage, however, a polar bear mate group claims to have a mate bond with her, and she discovers that their adopted brother has been standing guard outside her dorm since January. She can’t help but feel distrustful of their motives. An old flame from the human plane doesn’t seem to understand the word ‘No’, saying he’ll visit her in Christmas despite Claire’s wishes. So much for peace and holiday spirit.
