Four in the Air

Up, up and away… 

I haven’t had a lot of direction since graduating high school.
All I know is I’m not going to college like my parents want.
Living under their roof has been such a pain.
I can’t get out or do anything fun.
Although I’d definitely like to change that.
To save up for my own place, I take a job at the Balloon Fiesta.
It happens every year in my hometown.
People come from all over to watch colorful hot air balloons in the sky.
And some people come to fly them.
This year, I have to pick up trash and put up with my harassing boss.
That’s exactly what I’m doing when I meet Danny, Mike and Mason.
At first I think they’re cocky billionaires and I can’t stand them.
They’re rich AF and love to throw their money around and show off.
But then I have to spend time with them and they grow on me.
After all, these three are all tall, dark, handsome, and… gay?
It seems that Mike and Mason are a couple.
And they want Derek. And me.
So much so that they invite me to participate in an auction.
The price will definitely be enough to move out of my parents’ house.

Are we flying high in a temporary balloon of happiness sure to burst?
Or when we come down, can we find a way to make our love last?
