I’m an angel barred from Heaven, and so who else but the Devil would take me in?

Through no fault of my own, let’s just say I’ve been away for a while. But when my return to the Pearly Gates is blocked by a fiery, destructive power that shoots from my fingertips, I can tell you, no one is less surprised than me that the angels do not play nice.

That’s when Lucifer steps in.

At first, I think he’s on my side. But soon, I realize he’s holding secrets, and he doesn’t care enough about me to let me into the Brains Trust and share them. In fact, he enlists his two most trusted men to guard me and keep me locked in his castle so my power doesn’t destroy Hell—a trickster demon called Tobias, and a jaguar shifter named Logan.

Now, all three of them are calling up feelings I’d long since locked away. When it’s revealed that the blue cords connecting us mean they’re my soulmates, it's yet another problem added to the pile of crap my life has become. Only, I can't solve this problem with fire.

Should I let myself fall for the men guarding me against my will? Sure, they’re kind to me and give me everything I could want, but they're still the ones holding the key.

They're captivating, but I don't want to be a captive.

I don’t know the answers, but I’m beginning to think my romantic problems are the least of our concerns, because there’s this voice in the castle that only I can hear.

And it’s screaming.
