If at first you don’t succeed, you die.

I never paid much attention to my parents’ home business. Why bother when I was heading for college, no intention of becoming a “house cleaner” as they called it?

Now they’re dead and I won’t stop until I’ve cleared every home in Midway City, Georgia, of spirits, demons, and vampires. If only I knew how—or at least had my curse back. Mom and Dad always called it my blessing. Turns out they were right, but it’s too late. Unless and until I get it back, I’ll need help.

The best I can find are a couple of brazen wolf shifters bent on destroying undead—with total disregard for their own mortality—plus a pretty-boy mage with the worst answers to interview questions in the known world but wicked magic skills. Then there are the houses themselves. And that fox turning our lives upside down. Once our first house starts by breaking all the rules, we have even less time than I thought to figure out how this works.

How can I be falling for these guys right when I need focus for the task at hand? Can my team save me from myself? Even more concerning, can I save them before our lack of experience comes back to haunt us ... right to our graves?
