Knot Forgotten

My guys have always been my safe haven, the place I ran when things got tough. Best friends since forever, they were the unwavering pillars that stood by me when no one else did. Together, we planned to brave whatever life threw our way.

A single action shattered my world, ripping me from all that was familiar and thrusting me into a life of fear and perpetual nightmares. Hiding, deceit, and lies became my new reality.

Now, all grown up, our paths converge once more. However, they are no longer the kind, loving, protective guys I once knew. They're something darker.

With my past resurfacing, the question lingers—do I allow them to pull me into their altered world, to witness the new me? Or do I resist, fighting tooth and nail to stay away? The uncertainty gnaws at me, and even if I want to resist, I'm not so sure I can.
