Guilty. The word is nothing but the sharp edge of a guillotine. The noose wrapped around my neck that threatens to end my existence.
That, however would be too easy. Too simple. He will never allow that fate. He will never let me go, and the more I learn about the man determined to claim me the more confused I become. At least now I know his name. Deimos. A god of pure terror and he wants me and he will do anything in his power to claim me. Including revealing the existence of immortals to a fragile world.
As I wait for my fate to be decided, I can't help but wonder if there's any way out of this. Can I resist Deimos' charms and find a way back to the ones I love? Or will I be trapped in this cycle of fear and desire forever, spinning endlessly in his web of chaos?
Torn between those I’ve accepted and the one I haven’t, I’m caught in a fate that I never wanted. I’m caught between lies and love and pasts that my mates buried long before my time
