The Shade Of Our Hearts

Tawny:

I’ve tried to move on, tried to get my life together after the basement and after them, but life has a funny way of reminding me that some part of me became the monster and no longer can I hide who I have become.

Cobalt has been my rock and I his. Together, through another devastation, we have created a bond that runs deep and one that can not be broken. We nourish each other's darkness, feeding it and then pulling each other back to the light.

We know Blue is out there. He doesn’t hide from us for long and we know what he wants, what he has always wanted. Me. I have too much to lose now to allow him to win this time and he doesn’t know the monsters he created when he took us the first time, but he will find out. Soon we find out there is another threat and one we are not prepared for.

When they show back up, I have to make the decision if I am going to share in my darkness and hope they love me for it, or if I even want to love them. Time is cut short and we have to learn to work together when suddenly one of the guys is in danger. We don’t know if we will be able to save him and it means losing another piece of myself, when I am already so broken that I don’t know if I have much to lose.

Blue:

I have waited for her and this time I am not leaving without her. The rest of them can all burn for all I care, she has always been my obsession and I will have her, and with the bait that I have she will come, her bleeding heart won’t allow her to not come.

The problem is who I saw. I know he wants her like I do, but she is mine and now I have to race him to her. I don’t know what his intentions are with her, and if I have to kill him to get to Tawny I will. While I have the curiosity about him, I do a search and find out he was an older client of mine that has been watching. Always watching.
