Come for the Haunted Circus but stay for the after-party
Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and it’s only gotten better since I found my mates. We’ve had the best Haunted House in Greenbriar three years running, followed by a supes-only after-party that kills… usually only figuratively.
This year, I’m a vampire ringmaster leading our friends and neighbors through a Haunted Circus. Each room in our Victorian house contains a sideshow guaranteed to thrill and chill. But even I can admit that lately, things have been feeling especially spooky. Beyond the usual nosy neighbors and the too-stupid-to-live teenagers playing chicken with our guests, there’s something else. It’s a darkness that lurks in corners and a new scent on the wind but most alarming of all, my sisters are ten years old now and they’re definitely up to somethin’.
