Ugly Omega: Part II

My name is Charlene Carter, and I’m on trial for murder. I’m also an omega, which makes this story big news; it’s rare for an omega to kill anyone, let alone a bunch of other omegas. The media is having a field day listening to my stories of jealousy and obsession. And I’m feeding them as much juice as I can.

Here’s the truth: I’m not a murderer. I helped the missing omegas escape from abusive alphas, setting them up in new lives far away from their abusers. That's why I have to plead guilty. No one’s going to be looking for them if I swear they’re dead at my hands. And no matter what it means for me, I’m not going to betray them. Not for anything in this world.

Unfortunately, the Rough Trade Pack doesn’t seem to agree with my plan. They’ve hired a beta lawyer who sees straight through my lies, and between the four of them, they’re trying to seduce me right out of my plan. My body wants nothing more than to give in to their desires… and if I do, it will spell the end of my life’s work.

I have to hold on tight to my convictions. I’m a murderer, I’m going to prison. No matter what witnesses my lawyer digs up to prove I’m not who I say I am, no matter how convincing the touches or how big the knots in my… er… stomach grow, I’m not going to back down. Not even when they find my old pack and put them on the stand.

This will end with me behind bars, and the Rough Trade Pack will find love somewhere else -- there's no other way for this to end, even if my body begs me to change my mind.
