For my entire life, I have known who I am and been certain of my destiny. My place was with my sister, Zhavia, and her team as their protector and handler. At least that’s what I thought until my life was turned upside down.
I was given the choice to save my sister or the girl from my dreams. It should have been easy. Instead, I was torn in two, and for the first time in my life, I froze. After forcing Zhavia to walk with me into an unknown situation, my ego put everyone I care about in danger.
Just when I thought things couldn’t get worse, hooded strangers come to our aid. I’m Zadom Olympia and I don’t need anybody’s help. However, when lives are at risk, you take it no matter how suspicious it may seem.
The newcomers open doors I didn’t know existed, revealing that everything I thought I knew was wrong. Bonds are created—ones I didn’t ask for—yet day by day, I find myself accepting them, needing them, and protecting them. They are mine, and if anyone dares touch what belongs to me, they won’t like the consequences. I don’t care if they are my parents.
When the people I love are in danger, I need to do whatever it takes to keep them safe. Even if that means sacrificing myself. I have never worked well in a team—I don’t know how—but somehow have I found the ones that will risk it all to save me?
