A Little Lovestruck

You don’t always know what you want until you see him walk into your favorite pie shop on a Saturday morning… then all hell breaks loose.

My mother had a new boyfriend.
Not a problem, my two best friends, Vinny and Roman said.
I didn’t like her new boyfriend. He was moving in on my comfy life.
Sure, maybe it was time for me to launch… maybe it was past time.
Still, I wasn’t ready to get pushed out of my childhood home.
Especially around Valentine’s Day, when I didn’t have a Valentine to lean on.

Then Hart walked into Sweetie Pies and everything changed.

Vinny, the ruggedly handsome, local deputy sheriff, with sexy benefits, gave me a weak intro. 
Roman, the hard-bodied hunk, with the killer smile, gave me nothing but warnings.
While Hart, the stranger in town, a guy with so much swagger he could make my skin melt, turned me on with nothing more than a friendly hello.

Could he be my Valentine?

I didn’t know, but the clock was ticking at my mom’s house. She wanted her privacy and all I wanted was Hart… and Vinny… and Roman.
