A few weeks ago I was living as best I could, never really feeling at home, but always managing to fit in. Then the men came and captured me. I overheard them saying something about fae and shifters; the sorts of things that don't exist. To save myself, I did what I had to do to escape.

When I come upon a farm deep in the woods, the last thing I'm expecting is a handful of older men to invite me inside to warm up and stay for the evening. Yet, I feel more comfortable every moment I’m among these guys.
A snowstorm traps us together until the need to run makes me restless. My captors are surely after me and even the snows can only keep them away so long. The problem is, I feel more at home among these mountain men than I’ve ever experienced. These strange and wonderful men who seem so comfortable out in the cold.
