Soul Lost

I didn’t know, couldn’t tell, I could only feel and what I felt scared me.
When I woke I had no idea where I was, I was only half certain of who I was and all I knew was that I had to get out. So I ran, immediately lost in a place where nothing was even remotely familiar and everything was just slightly wrong.
But then I met Alena, and through her the men that she said were to be my protectors and guides now that Earth was lost. But Earth was lost and even though it shouldn’t, the lack and the deaths of so many hurt my soul.
And not everyone wants what is being offered to me. I’m not even sure that I want what is being offered to me. It’s almost too intimate, too perfect, but I’m starting to care and it’s starting to scare me less as the days go by.
And then I have to make a choice. A choice to accept or a choice to reject what is offered and the fulcrum of the planet rests on that decision. But the choice is mine and I think I know what I want.
