The Gathering of Enemies

With the threat of the Voltaire family looming, Lynron, Illan, and Badan are more intent than ever on connecting with Ali. Only, their focus seems to be more on Ali herself than on future plans, leading to growing possessiveness. Will they be able to pull themselves together in time to take on their enemies? Or will someone have to run interference, as Tavor has always feared?

Meanwhile, the Voltaires are determined to not end up like the McMichaels, leading to them hunkering down with an army of wizards. However, when Ren comes clean to Tristan Voltaire about the truths he’s learned, Tristan is determined to join Ali’s crusade. But Ali isn’t so willing to trust Ren a second time, nor his allies. Things grow even more complicated when Ali discovers a familiar face when confronted with the genie retrieval task force—one who also expresses interest in joining them. Now she and the genies must ask themselves: Can past enemies become new allies?
